Pharmacists Syndicate Shuts Down Al-Dar Pharmacy in Minieh-Akkar following Patient Death caused by Impersonator Pharmacist

The Pharmacists Syndicate announced in a statement, “Following the news circulating about the so-called Amer Al-Riz Alam El-Din, the impersonator of a pharmacist, taking over the management of Al-Dar Pharmacy in the Minieh-Akkar region and causing the death of a patient, the Pharmacists’ Syndicate’s inspection in the Minieh-Akkar region moved to close the aforementioned pharmacy.”

The head of the Pharmacists Syndicate, Joe Salloum, affirmed that he “will carry out all the necessary investigations and inform the Ministry of Health about them, in order to save the lives of citizens and stop the process of infringement on the pharmacological profession by impersonators, pharmacies and illegal dispensaries.”

He pointed out that “the so-called Alam al-Din is not the legal pharmacist Amer Mahmoud Alam al-Din.”
