The bankruptcy court has called a meeting of creditors for December 15th, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the Congress Center Düsseldorf. However, the bankruptcy court points out that the creditors’ meeting could be canceled at short notice due to the corona pandemic.
Why is it important to attend the creditors’ meeting?
As part of this creditors’ meeting, the now appointed insolvency administrator will report on the insolvency proceedings and give an outlook on the future proceedings. In addition, the creditors can decide on the person of the insolvency administrator and on the progress of the proceedings. In addition, the creditors should vote on a particularly significant legal act, namely the sale of the property located in Heinersdorf.
Does a lawyer have to register the claim?
There is no so-called compulsory lawyer. The registration of claims must be prepared extremely carefully. It represents the basis for the determination of the table. Only such determined claims grant a so-called insolvency rate. If the claim is not registered, the creditor will also not receive an insolvency rate.
