The reason why Kungstal is placed on the drug list

One of the doctors confirmed that the drug Konjstal syrup was used because it contains the substance “dextromethorphan” which helps in relieving the symptoms of coughing, although it contains an amount less than 10 ml, but it is used incorrectly by many people who take Narcotic substances.

It is also mentioned that this is what made the Medicines Authority place it on the schedule of narcotic drugs, and said, “The Medicines Authority has always banned any medicine with a dextromethorphan percentage of 10 milliliters for more than that, because drinking it in a large proportion causes hallucinations, but now the authority decided that any medicine It is forbidden to do so immediately, and it will not be used without a doctor’s prescription.

And that Kongstal tablets do not contain this substance, so the authority allowed it. As for the alternative medicines for drinking, they are: “Oblex, Pentamex.”“، And one of the doctors advised those suffering from coughing to take medicines that contain natural herbs such as guava leaves, which are safe for health.
