Pharmacies report shortage of Covid-19 vaccines in León

León.- Pharmacies selling Pfizer vaccines against Covid-19 in León are reporting shortages of the vaccine and do not know when they will be replenished.

Even though the vaccine is no longer as sought after as it was a few months ago, the product has been denied on several occasions, one of which is the ISSEG pharmacy where it cost around 850 pesos and has not arrived for months.

Likewise, Farmacias Guadalajara also does not know when they will be supplied with the vaccines against Covid-19. On the other hand, Farmacia del Ahorro is the only chain that has 30 doses in all of León, as of August 13, 2024.

The branches that have the vaccine are those located on Hidalgo Boulevard almost reaching Juan Alonso de Torres Boulevard and on Delta Boulevard in the Agua Azul neighborhood, at a cost of 749 pesos.

It is worth mentioning that the vaccine is administered by doctors from the same offices.
