‘Phantom Of The Idol’ Anime Reveals PV, Cast And Theme Song –

Yuuya Niyodo’s idol career changed overnight as the spirit of late popular idol Asahi Mogami took possession of his body. Phantom of the Idol is a story that blends horror, music and comedy like never before.

All Asahi wants is to play, while Yuuya just wants to laze around and reap the rewards of celebrity life, which makes the pair perfect partners in crime. But they also have to deal with the constant changes in personality and the questions that require it.

The Phantom of the Idol franchise has revealed a chaotic new trailer to show precisely the type of situations Yuuya is forced into by Asahi. The anime will premiere on July 1, 2022.

The trailer also features a preview of the anime’s manhe song “Let’s ZING!” by idol duo ZINGS consisting of cast members Fumiya Imai and Shun Horie.

When you make a deal with the dead, literally, the consequences are sure to catch up with you. For Yuuya, it was the immense credit he gained from Asahi, who gave a charming and spirited performance.

Fans of Yuuya’s ZINGS pop duo started hating him because of his cocky attitude and lousy vocals. With Asahi owning his body, he managed to find love and appreciation again, and fans started going crazy for him.

This was a big deal for Yuuya as he absolutely hates socializing and excitement, but in order to maintain his new life as an expanse celebrity, he made an effort.

Not to mention that Asahi’s intense and almost frightening passion for show business also became a problem for Yuuya.

Additionally, the franchise also revealed additional cast members for ZINGS’ rival and idol group Cgrass. The leader of the group, Hikaru Setochi, is teased in the new trailer as being very suspicious of Yuuya.

I can’t wait to see how this all pans out because even though it’s a comedy, Yuuya is still taking a risky bet in fact Asahi owns it. I mean, he made a deal with a ghost. I’m sure something terrible is brewing for them.

Phantom of the Idol (Kami Kuzu Idol) is a supernatural comic manga by Hijiki Isoflavone. It began serialization in December 2017 in Ichijinsha’s Comic Zero Sum and has been licensed by Kodansha Comics.

The story is about the sloth Yuuya Niyodo, who is part of the ZINGS idol duo. One day after a botched performance, Yuuya meets Asahi Mogami, a cheerful female idol. The problem is that Asahi has been dead for a year, which upsets Yuya’s life.
