Phantom Liberty: Funny Dialogue and Hidden Easter Eggs Revealed in Cyberpunk 2077

Although it is about just expansion, Phantom Liberty is a pretty big addition to Cyberpunk 2077, and it will likely take some time for players to discover all the hidden quirks and easter eggs. This is also proven by the recent discovery of a funny dialogue from the end of the entire story, which was noticed by an inquisitive player. He discovered that the developers seemed to anticipate the traditional burst of creativity and prepared the Phantom Liberty in case someone decided to jump on a rocket and fly to the moon. The dialogue with Johnny Silverhand, which starts at this moment, then amuses the whole community, and once again the opinions flash that the developers were able to redeem themselves and once again present something of their genius to the player community. But before we get into the details, please be warned that the following lines will contain some pretty major spoilers, so if you haven’t played or finished Phantom Liberty yet, there’s no point in reading on.

Well, if there are only those left who have the story of V, Solomon Reed, the president of NUSA, and Songbird behind them, we can reveal what Reddit user Prototailz discovered. He shared a short video from the end of the story in which he decided to kill Reed and save Songbird by sending her to the moon on a rocket. But Prototailz noticed that the outside of the rocket’s door frame was wide enough for him to stand on, so he decided to try his luck and fly to the moon with Songbird. At least at first it seems that he will succeed, but that is not the best. At the moment when the boarding platform begins to move away from the rocket, Johnny Silverhand materializes on it and dryly asks where it is going like V? And to this comes the almost genius response of the game’s protagonist: “Just watch this show, Johnny.”

However, there is also Johnny’s cursing and amazement at what his “wearer” is up to, along with V’s subsequent joyful exclamation that he is finally going to fly into space. As you might expect, the trip doesn’t last too long from this point on, as once the engines fire and the rocket moves upward, V falls out the door to meet his death with a cackle. According to further findings, there is nothing that can be done about it, and it appears to be a scripted protection to prevent players from flying off Earth at will. And even if the players subsequently found out that the announcements were not created for this scene, but reused from other places in the game, they fit the situation perfectly and let it be known that the developers are very aware of the creativity of their fans.
