– Why did you use an existing IP (intellectual property rights) rather than a new original work?

Jovana: I wanted to create an IP that was similar to Disgaea. Also, although the previous work came out 20 years ago, the main characters Ashu and Marone were always named abroad, and I wanted to revive their charm, so I prepared this work as a completely new unnumbered work.

Hosono: The story is completely new so you don’t need to read the previous work to enjoy it, so you can enjoy it without pressure.

This is a new work prepared for the first time in 20 years.

Jovana: We started a character quiz in North America at the design stage, and the Ghost character was at the top. Also, I thought that this game was more popular in that region than Disgaea, so I started preparing a new game right away. And while the main system known as Confine is maintained, there are some systematic improvements.

– Is it possible to verify the number of phantoms and relationships that appear in the game?

Jovana: There are over 50 types of phantoms, and unique characters can be attached to all phantoms. However, you can only test relationships with 4 types of characters that you create yourself.

Also, new characters are being prepared as DLC, and these will also be Destiny Confine.

There are a variety of patterns for the relationship game. Was there any difficulty in preparing?

Hosono: The staff in charge of the design itself worked very hard. We talked a lot about how Marone and Taifse would get together and how they would keep their individuality. Basically, the focus was on introducing a unified form while utilizing the unique characteristics of both characters.

The SRPG genre has a high barrier to entry. What tools are available for new users?

Jovana: You can choose the difficulty level, and the previous game didn’t have a tutorial or advice function, but this one does.

What game do you want to be remembered for?

Jovana: We appeal to the cute character scenes through our real promotions, and we have combined the character with a fairy tale-like story very well, so I hope you will focus on this and enjoy he to you There are also elements of naruto, so fans of this genre will be satisfied as well.
