“Phantom Blade Zero: A New Ambitious Action RPG for PlayStation 5 and PC”

During yesterday’s PlayStation Showcase event, there were several surprises, among which we can also include a newly introduced title called Phantom Blade Zero. Behind the game is the Chinese studio S-Game, which until now has been dedicated to mobile titles. Now, however, this unit is entering traditional gaming platforms with an ambitious action RPGwhich in some moments resembles games from the FromSoftware studio led by Bloodborne or titles with a samurai theme such as Nioh or Ghost of Tsushima.

The game will be have a semi-open world and emphasis on fast fights. The creators themselves refer to the environment as Kung-Fu Punk, which mixes elements of Chinese Kung-Fu with steampunk. The story of the game will revolve around the journey of an elite assassin named Soul, who is accused of murder and subsequently has to deal with a serious injury. Thanks to a mystical healer, he manages to find a cure, but it only lasts for 66 days. Until then, the main character must fight powerful enemies and find the source of his problems.

Phantom Blade Zero will be released on PlayStation 5 and PC at an as yet unspecified date. You can take a look at the preview above introductory trailer.
