The Pfizer / BioNTech duo, since the start of vaccination across Europe the most reliable supplier, the number of deliveries increases significantly from the end of May. This is shown by an update from Belvax, the vaccination task force in our country.

On Monday, our country can expect 269,100 doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine. In the following weeks, that figure is systematically increased to 733,000 weekly from the end of May.

According to the current schedule, deliveries from Pfizer / BioNTech will only allow our country to inject 5.8 million extra injections.

Those impressive numbers contrast with the other vaccine manufacturers. Moderna is ramping up its weekly deliveries to 85,000 at the end of June from 45,600 today.

Johnson & Johnson and AstraZeneca only provide figures for the month of April. J&J plans one shipment of 62,400 vaccines on April 26. It remains to be seen whether these will actually be delivered now the mother of Janssen Pharma himself asked not to use the vaccine temporarily. This is due to the pause of the ‘one shot’ vaccine in the United States, due to some cases of blood clots.

AstraZeneca has two deliveries in the pipeline. On Monday, 103,000 doses will arrive, a week later 294,000.
