Our country will receive more than 560,000 doses of the vaccine from Pfizer and BioNTech every week from the week of May 31.

That says the Task Force Vaccination Strategy. This is about doubling the number of doses that will be delivered in the coming weeks.

Pfizer gave the Belgian government a detailed schedule of the number of deliveries up to the end of June. In the next three weeks, just under 270,000 doses will arrive each time. From the first week of May, that number will drop slightly to around 244,000, but from May 31, the number will double to over 560,000 doses.

MILLION

Of the nearly 3 million doses delivered to our country since December, 1.8 million come from Pfizer / BioNTech.

The three other vaccine makers – Moderna, AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson – have passed numbers for the next three weeks. In total, 385,530 vaccines will be delivered next week. Mainly due to an increase in the number of AstraZeneca doses, this will increase to 625,500 vaccines in the week of April 26.

Almost 3 million doses have already been delivered in our country since the beginning of December. More than 1.8 million come from Pfizer-BioNTech, 820,000 come from AstraZeneca and 335,000 from Moderna.
