The Pfizer vaccine against Covid-19 began to be sold this Friday at Farmacias del Ahorro branches in the city, where some people arrived to be immunized.
In a tour of pharmacies in the city, it was found that the Farmacias del Ahorro where they have the vaccine are the Periférico de la Juventud branch, Misiones, Francisco Villa and Politécnico Nacional.

Despite it being the first day that the Pfizer biological is sold, several people were already in the branches so that the medical staff could apply the vaccine to them.
Some pointed out that for different reasons they could not apply the booster vaccine that was previously applied in health institutions and centers.
They added that the price of the vaccine is high, since to vaccinate at least two family members, it is necessary to pay at least 1,600 pesos, in the case of Farmacias del Ahorro, where each dose is offered at 799 pesos.

Despite the above, they affirmed that health is the most important thing, and the experience of the pandemic is something that should raise awareness about the importance of preventing diseases.
For their part, the staff who serve these pharmacies reported that they will not be available in all branches and at the moment they are only available in those indicated above.
Regarding the number of vaccines they have for sale, the staff said that they have not been informed how many doses they will have available, so they invited people to go to the pharmacies where they began to be administered this Friday.
It should be noted that this pharmaceutical chain is the first in the city to begin marketing the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine, which was authorized for sale in Mexico.
