A man went under in the Pfäffikersee on Saturday morning and has been missing ever since (see media release of July 16, 2022).
The search for the missing person continued Sunday morning. The 71-year-old was located with a sonar device and was rescued dead from a depth of around 14 meters by police divers from the Zurich cantonal police.
The Zurich canton police was supported by the Pfäffikersee rescue service and the Pfäffikon fire brigade.
