PEVS Reaches Transactions of IDR 250 Billion, Flying Taxis Fly in the Sky of Jakarta

The Perikliindo Electric Vehicles Show (PEVS) 2022 electric vehicle exhibition will end today, Sunday (31/7/2022). The celebration, which was held for the first time, was claimed to have reached a transaction of Rp 250 billion.

The General Chairperson of Perikliindo, Moeldoko said that the presence of electric vehicles in Indonesia is no longer a future plan. The transition of electric vehicles from conventional vehicles in Indonesia today is no longer a taboo subject because its presence is in sight and is a modern vehicle.

“Various policies have been prepared by the government to facilitate the roadmap of electric vehicles in Indonesia, the high enthusiasm of the public for electric vehicles, to the readiness of all electric vehicle industry players, from the smallest to the largest components, can be said to be ready. Many domestic manufacturers have been able to prepare all components for electric vehicles, and this is a good thing to achieve the shared goal of Net Zero Emission in 2060,” said Perikliindo Chairman Moeldoko in his official statement quoted on Sunday (31/7/2022).

President Commissioner of PT Dyandra Promosindo Ery Erlangga added that the PEVS 2022 event was successfully carried out thanks to the help of many parties ranging from the Government, Academics, Practitioners, to industry players from the private sector.

“Until the 9th day, in reporting transaction data by participants at 16.00 WIB, the PEVS 2022 exhibition recorded a transaction value of more than 250 billion rupiah. This is an achievement, because PERIKLINDO has succeeded in establishing its existence in the eyes of the Indonesian people with the success of the PEVS event. 2022 at its inaugural event,” explained Ery.

The PEVS 2022 electric vehicle exhibition was attended by several four-wheeled brands from passenger vehicles such as DFSK, Wuling, as well as from commercial vehicles such as the MAB Bus to the electric truck line-up from Fuso. There is also a line of two-wheeled vehicles and commercial vehicles, followed by Erolis, Nozomi, Rakata, Smoot EV and Trolis.

Brands of supporting components for electric vehicles such as Birubatt, Fixio and Oyika to a number of local products also show off their innovations.

Interestingly, on the last day of the PEVS 2022 event (31/7), the e-Hang 216 flying taxi airs in the sky of Jakarta. As for the operating hours of the last day of PEVS 2022 on Sunday, 10.00 – 21.00 WIB at JIExpo Kemayoran.
