Astra Peugeot brings in the cheapest variants of the 3008 and 5008. The car, which costs less than the Toyota Fortuner and Pajero Sport, has arrived in Indonesia.
The Peugeot 3008 and Peugeot 5008 Active variants are the cheapest models. This CBU (Completely Built Up) car from the PSA Group factory in Malaysia arrived at the Jakarta International Container Terminal (JICT) Tanjung Priok, Jakarta, since Saturday, (10/31/2021).
At first glance there is no striking difference with the Allure Plus variant being marketed. However, there are some differences, such as the presence of a Panoramic Sunroof which is only available in the Allure Plus variant and the Active interior uses a combination of leather and fabric.
Another difference is also seen on the center console screen. The Active variant measures 8 inches, while the Allure Plus measures 10 inches.
“In addition to the Pearl White and Nera Black colors, the Active variant gets the Emerald Crystal color (5008). For Jakarta and Tangerang dealers, you can enter, while the Surakarta and Surabaya showrooms may be officially present Thursday (04/11),” said Fadjar Tjendikia, Finance Marketing. To note, the Peugeot 3008 and 5008 Active variants have been introduced since the beginning of October 2021. This car will also target the segment filled with Mitsubishi Pajero Sport and Toyota Fortuner, because the price is tight for the two cars.
The New Peugeot 3008 Active sells for IDR 590 million (on the road) and the New Peugeot 5008 Active IDR 645 million (on the road). Compared to the current price of the Toyota Fortuner, it sells for Rp. 493 million to Rp. 630.5 million. While the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is priced from IDR 517.8 million to IDR 748.7 million.
