ARRIVES IN SEPTEMBER – Unveiled last March, the new generation of the Peugeot 308, is characterized by a more refined style and a deeply renewed technological equipment. The French company announces that it can already be ordered in Italy and that it will arrive in dealerships at the end of September 2021. The starting price is 23,750 euros and there are five different configurations (Active Pack, Allure, Allure Pack, GT and GT Pack) and 5 motors, for a total of 21 combinations.
THE ACTIVE PACK – The standard equipment of the Peugeot 308 it is already quite complete in setting up Active Pack (pictured above) which, among other things, includes various ADAS systems (emergency braking, active lane departure control, traffic sign recognition, attention assist), dual-zone automatic climate control, acoustically insulated windscreen, automatic ignition of projectors and wipers, LED headlights and digital instrumentation with 10 ”display and multimedia system with 10” screen.
THE ALLURE – The second level of equipment is theAllure (pictured above), which adds different functional and design elements, including the anti-collision system and adaptive headlights, front parking sensors, LED interior lighting, integral claw LED headlights, grille with chrome inserts and two USB sockets rear.
THE ALLURE PACK – The set-up Allure Pack it offers four further Adas systems (adaptive cruise control with stop & go function, blind spot surveillance, and rear traffic alert), 17 ”alloy wheels and wireless charger for the smartphone.
THE GT – The set-up GT (pictured above) emphasizes the sporty character by adding aluminum pedals and door sills, heated leather steering wheel, 18 ”wheels, full LED matrix headlights, external profiles with chrome decoration and 3D instrumentation.
THE GT PACK – Higher in the range we find the set-up GT PACK which includes electrically adjustable heated and massage seats, the 10-speaker Premium Focal Hi-Fi system and the visiopark with four cameras.
THE PRICESI – The basic set-up includes the PureTech Turbo 110 petrol engine with 6-speed manual gearbox in Active Pack set-up. Peugeot 308 with BlueHDi diesel engine with the same set-up starts at € 26,550 (€ 28,750 with the Allure and € 29,750 with the Allure Pack) and, finally, the new plug-in hybrid engines have a price list that starts at € 36,750 for the Hybrid 180 version in the rich Allure set-up (37,750 with the Allure Pack, 39,950 with the GT and 41,950 with the GT Pack). The top-of-the-range 225hp plug-in hybrid engine can only be combined with the GT trim levels and GT Pack, and is priced at 41,450 and 43,450 euros respectively.
