PRICES – Unveiled in early September, the Peugeot 3008 in a restyled version will arrive in dealerships from January 2021, but the French manufacturer has already opened the orders and announced the prices: they start at 29,000 euros for the basic version, the Active with 130 HP 1.2 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine. The 3008 costs 38,300 euros with the 180 HP 2.0 petrol engine and the 8-speed EAT8 automatic transmission. Instead, at least 31,000 euros are needed for the 130 bhp 3008 BlueHDi, with the 130 bhp 1.5 turbo diesel, while the 180 bhp 2.0 turbo diesel starts at 40,300 euros. There is no shortage of plug-in hybrids: the 225 hp front-wheel drive one costs 44,680 euros, the one with the 300 hp 4×4 costs 50,180 euros.
THE EQUIPMENT – The Peugeot 3008 of 2021 is offered with four versions. It starts fromActive, which comes as standard with 17 “wheels, LED headlights, rear distance sensors, dual zone automatic climate control, digital dashboard with 12.3” screen, multimedia system with 8 “screen and some aids to driving, including the system against involuntary lane change and automatic braking. The Business is the second level of trim: with the same engine, it costs 1,200 euros more than the Active, but adds the front distance sensors, the rear camera, the multimedia system with a 10 “screen and compatibility for smartphones and the sofa with arm rest.
AT THE TOP IS THE GT – For 1,800 euros more, there is the Allure, which has tinted windows, 18 ”wheels, blind spot monitoring in the mirrors and a system that automatically deactivates the high beams if it detects the presence of another vehicle on the road. The top of the range equipment is called GT: the extra is 2,000 euros compared to the Allure, but offers the keyless on-board access system, the LED lights diffused in the passenger compartment and the level 2 autonomous driving system, which allows the car to drive from yourself and keep the center of the lane.
THREE PACKAGES – In addition, the Active, Allure and GT trim levels can be embellished with an accessories package. L’Active Pack, offered for the Peugeot 3008 Active, costs 600 euros and includes front distance sensors, rear view camera and smartphone compatibility. Same price for theAllure Pack: has keyless access on board, the backrest of the right front seat that folds forward and led lights inside. The GT Pack costs 2,400 euros and offers parking assistant, driver’s seat with massage function, 19 ”wheels and motorized opening of the tailgate.
