New York (Reuters) – Market sources said, citing data from the American Petroleum Institute on Tuesday, that U.S. stocks fell last week, while gasoline and distillates stocks rose.
The sources said crude inventories fell by about 3.1 million barrels in the week ending Dec. 16.
Gasoline inventories rose by about 4.5 million barrels, while distillate inventories increased by 828,000 barrels, according to the sources, who asked not to be identified.
