Petrol Prices Soar to $88, Highest Since October – National Average Increasing for Petrol, Decreasing for Diesel

Brent rose sharply towards $88, the highest since the end of October. Upward movements on the recommended price lists of the major brands. The national average of prices charged at the petrol pump is still increasing, while that of diesel is still decreasing. Petrol is more expensive than diesel by almost 10 cents per litre. These are the average prices charged communicated by the managers to the Price Observatory of the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy and processed by Staffetta, recorded at 8am yesterday morning on approximately 18 thousand plants: self-service petrol at 1,891 euros/litre (+3 thousandths, companies 1,896, white pumps 1,879), self-service diesel at 1,797 euros/litre (-3, companies 1,801, white pumps 1,788). Petrol served at 2,029 euros/litre (+3, companies 2,071, white pumps 1,944), diesel served at 1,938 euros/litre (-2, companies 1,980, white pumps 1,854). LPG served at 0.715 euros/litre (unchanged, companies 0.724, white pumps 0.705), methane served at 1.337 euros/kg (unchanged, companies 1.365, white pumps 1.314), LNG 1.151 euros/kg (+2, companies 1.152 euros/kg , white pumps 1,150 euro/kg).

These are the prices on the motorways: self-service petrol 1.971 euros/litre (served 2.233), self-service diesel 1.895 euros/litre (served 2.162), LPG 0.850 euros/litre, methane 1.475 euros/kg, LNG 1.169 euros/kg.
