WHAT A STRAIGHT – We are in the middle of summer, therefore, as usual, the sting of the increase in numbers arrives petrol and diesel prices. An upward trend in progress since the beginning of the year and which, in July, took on worrying connotations, so much so as to alarm trade associations such as Codacons. Currently, according to the elaborations of Energy Newspaper on the basis of the data communicated at 8 am yesterday by the operators to the Fuel Price Observatory of the Mise, the national average price of gasoline in self mode is 1.654 euros per liter, with fluctuation, taking into account the different brands, between 1.647 and 1.663 euros per liter. In this context it is therefore also possible to find some plants that, in served mode, charge a higher price than 2 euro for petrol (pictured above taken today). The average of diesel instead is expected at 1,510 euros per liter (in self mode), with fluctuations ranging from 1,498 to 1,534 euros per liter.
TOO MANY TAXES – The increase in fuel is the natural consequence of the 13.4% increase in oil price from the beginning of 2021 to today. Italy is therefore confirmed as one of the countries where you spend the most for a full tank, also for the many taxes that are imposed on it.
