The price of petrol and diesel continues to fluctuate. After a series of good news, a slowdown has come: all the updates
The price of petrol and diesel continues to worry Italian motorists. The quotes, in fact, they still have rather noticeable fluctuations. When costs seem to fall, then new increases arrive. However, for a few weeks now the costs have settled down: the gas, in fact, it’s back to costing more than diesel.
As it has always happened. But the costs pump vary, and the month of March is not starting in the best way. In the meantime, however, there is some good news: methane, in fact, has dropped significantly in price. A real collapse to 1.83 euros per kilo. The updated data comes from the usual survey of “Daily Relay”. The decline of methane, and gas in general, follows the international trend of raw material costs, which despite the persistence of guerra they are slowly declining.
Instead, as far as classic fuels are concerned, gas and diesel, unfortunately there is no shortage of increases. According to the report by Staffetta Quotidiana, the Q8 company has raised the recommended prices for petrol and diesel by one cent per litre. Even higher was the rise of Tamoil, which raised the price of 2 cents per liter for gas. And in fact it is precisely this last type of fuel that recorded the greatest increase. Specifically, these are the average costs set by the price observatory managers of the Ministry of Economic Development and processed by the relay.
Petrol and diesel prices: March starts with some bad news
The updated costs were recorded at 8 on Monday morning on approximately 18,000 pumps: self-service petrol is sold at 1.856 euros per liter (price without variations, with 1,858 companies, 1,852 white pumps). As for diesel at 1.815 euros per liter (-1 thousandth, companies 1.819, white pumps 1.807). As for the gas in served mode at 1.996 euros per liter (-1, companies 2.040, unbranded pumps 1.912). Diesel fuel, on the other hand, is sold at diesel at 1.958 euros per liter (-2, companies 2.004, white pumps 1.868). For what concern Gpl in served mode at 0.805 euros per liter (-2, companies 0.809, unbranded pumps 0.800).
As for the prezzo of methane in served mode we are at 1.830 euros per kg. In detail, the costs are set at -31, companies 1,833, white pumps 1,828. As regards the costs of LNG, 1.667 euros per kg (-68, companies 1.711 euros/kg, white pumps 1.633 euros per kg). As always, they register costs higher (and not slightly) on the Italian motorway network. These are the updated prices on the motorways in detail: gas self service 1.936 euro/litre (served 2.196), diesel self service 1.899 euro/litre (served 2.166), LPG 0.894 euro/litre, methane 1.844 euro/kg, LNG 1.596 euro per kg.
