Petra Vlhová Wins Courchevel Slalom at Downhill Skiing World Cup in France

COURCHEVEL. Slovak skier Petra Vlhová became the winner of the Thursday evening slalom at the downhill skiing World Cup in Courchevel, France.

Twenty-eight-year-old Liptáčka was second after the first round and lost 17 hundredths of a second to the American Mikaela Shiffrin, but she had the fastest second run among all the competitors.

In the evaluation of the discipline, Vlhová moved from third to second place and loses 50 points to the leader Shiffrinová, she is 90 points ahead of the third German Lena Dürrová.

In the overall ranking of the SP, the Slovak is already third, ahead of the Swiss Lara Gutová-Behramiová and the Italian Sofia Goggio.
