KRANJSKA GORA. Slovak skier Petra Vlhová will start in Saturday’s huge slalom in Kranjska Gora, Slovenia, with number four.
This was decided by Friday’s draw of the starting numbers in the center, which is the replacement for the canceled event in Maribor for the third time in the last four seasons.
The native of Liptovský Mikuláš completed four huge slaloms this season. She finished third in the traditional Overture of the World Cup in Sölden, then fourth and fifth in Courchevel, and last second in Lienz.

The number one was drawn by the Italian Marta Bassinová, who is a defender of a small crystal globe. However, the last huge slalom in Lienz was won by the Frenchman Tessa Worley, who will go second on the track.
After a positive coronavirus test, Lara Gutová-Behramiová returns to the competition carousel. She will go on the track after Petra Vlhová as the fifth in a row. On the contrary, American skier Mikaela Shiffrinová will go down the slope in front of Slovakia.
