The closest between 2nd and 3rd place was in Killington, where the third Wendy Holdener was only 8 hundredths of a second behind Vlhová, but the skier from the Tatras made a big mistake, she lost 83ths to the home winner.

“I do not know exactly what happened. I lost my balance on my skis, I almost jumped off the track, but I managed to stop it. Then I put everything into it, I went to the maximum and it’s the 2nd place, which I’m happy about, it could have been much worse, ” said Vlhová about the error.

The aforementioned Katharina Liensberger does not follow up on last successful season, in which she did not finish worse than fourth in the slalom. She took 6th and 8th place in Lev this year, and was fourth in the last event.

“It’s not just about me and Mikaele, there are other girls. We still have a lot of events ahead of us. I’m looking forward to more fights, but I stay calm, “ the big globe advocate spoke modestly.

Unlike last season, in which Vlhová went every single event to win a big globe, this time she plans to concentrate only on slalom and giant slalom. The goal is to add precious metal from the upcoming Olympics to the collection.
