ZAGREB. Slovak skier Petra Vlhová was lucky and will start the slalom in Zagreb, Croatia with the most advantageous number one.
The native of Liptovský Mikuláš won the previous two slaloms on Sljeme Hill, while in 2020 she literally outclassed the competition. At that time, she won with an abysmal lead of 1.31 seconds over Mikaela Shiffrin.

The American had to skip the previous race in Lienz, Austria, due to a positive coronavirus test, but in Zagreb she is fighting for the title of Snow Queen.
However, she was unlucky at Monday’s draw and will only be on the track as the seventh, ie the last of the seven elite competitors.

The first round is scheduled for 12.30 pm on Tuesday. The second races, in which the best thirty competitors will take part, will start at 16.05.
