Petr Nedvěd ends his position as general manager of the national team

Petr Nedvěd resigned from the position of general manager of the national team at his own request at the end of August 2024, for personal reasons. If the situation were to change, cooperation would be established again. The management of Czech hockey is currently deciding who will take over his responsibilities and competences.

Petr Nedvěd has been the general manager of the Czech national hockey team since the 2018/19 season. He missed the 2022/23 season, but returned to the team again for the 2023/24 season and celebrated winning the world championship title at the home championship in Prague. In addition, he also won bronze at the 2022 WC in Finland.
