When the government will hate before the names of its ministers will be remembered or why the current cabinet may not last long. The comment under this heading was written on Facebook by the leader of the Voice of the People party, Svetlo Vitkov.
Here is the full text of Vitkov’s comment.:
When the government will hate before the names of its ministers will be remembered or why the current cabinet may not last long…
1. In the ruling coalition of the PPP, ITN, BSP and DB, the DB coalition (“Yes, BG”, DSB and the Green Movement) will be the first to retreat. The DB coalition was destructive, and their “struggle” to overthrow the Prosecutor General was actually an attempt to refute their alliance with the BSP and demonstrated a desire to fulfill a commitment to its main sponsor and mentor.
Without DB… the ruling coalition has fallen below 121 deputies.
Indicative of DB’s unwillingness to associate with the government is the fact that neither Hristo Ivanov nor Atanasov held ministerial posts.
2. The rise in the cost of living of Bulgarians without adequate action by the government will lead to discontent, which in late winter or early spring will turn into protests.
3. The withdrawal of tens of billions of levs of public debt and the lack of a sense of this money in the pocket of Bulgarian taxpayers and voters will increase the feeling of inadequacy and disinterest on the part of the government in solving the problems of Bulgarians.
4. The credibility of the government evaporates within a few days, and P.R. actions and publications in favor of the Cabinet of Ministers will have less and less power.
5. Prime Minister Petkov’s actions demonstrate a greater interest in Bulgaria’s inter-parliamentary relations than in the country’s internal problems, which is a sign of his commitments to third countries and the wrong prioritization of his policy.
6. Lack of political experience, gap between political promises and actions, lack of transparency of funds and shurobajanism… the only change from the previous model is the “lack of political experience”. We know the rest well. ????
Conclusion: quick decisions and concrete actions on the part of the Cabinet of Ministers are needed, which will stabilize the sharp rise in the cost of living of Bulgarians. Patience with the government will run out at the moment when Bulgarian citizens feel and believe that their pocket is thinning, but the Cabinet of Ministers does not take adequate actions to prevent impoverishment, but continues with P.R. actions and political conversations.
