The situation in the region of Eastern Europe was discussed
Prime Minister Kiril Petkov convened a meeting of the Security Council today. It discussed the situation in the region of Eastern Europe in connection with the risks arising from the war in Ukraine, as well as possible scenarios for the development of the situation, according to the press center of the Council of Ministers.
During the meeting, the Minister of Defense Dragomir Zakov noted that Bulgaria’s position in NATO must be clear and predictable and that this is the direction in which Bulgarian institutions are working. Petkov, for his part, called on the security services to continue to provide operational information.
