Peter Maffay has announced the new concert dates for his canceled tour.
Munich – After an interruption of his “Live 2020” tour, Peter Maffay will make up for his concerts in the summer.

German rock musician Peter Maffay (70) ends his tour, which was interrupted due to two illnesses, between July 22 and August 24. He announced this on Thursday.
From Erfurt (July 22nd), the tour leads with a total of 19 concerts across Germany and to Zurich, ending on August 24th in Frankfurt / Main. All tickets remain valid for the concerts in the respective cities.
After the start in Kiel, Hamburg and Berlin, Maffay had to interrupt the “Live 2020” tour.
Bassist Ken Taylor had fallen off the stage in Hamburg and suffered a fractured thigh (TAG24 reported). Keyboarder Pascal Kravetz had to quit due to an acute illness, as the message said.
“The shock is still in the bones. But we put in a turbo: only five days after our tour was interrupted, the new dates are fixed,” writes Maffay on Instagram to the new dates.
“In this context, I would like to thank you all warmly for your understanding and motivating feedback. What a community of fans,” the musician was moved.
