Peter Maffay tops the album charts for the 21st time

Peter Maffay (75) also stormed to the top with the recording “We Love Rock ‘n’ Roll (Leipzig-Live-2024)”. “Peter Maffay is and remains the all-time record holder in the Official German Album Charts, determined by GfK Entertainment,” said the chart investigators in Baden-Baden. “The rock star lands his 21st number one record and continues to increase his record.” He also placed in the top 10 for the 313th time, which is also unmatched.
The previous week’s number one – Coldplay with the album “Moon Music” – now falls to fourth place. Linkin Park top singles charts
In the singles charts, Linkin Park topped the list for the sixth time in a row with the hit “The Emptiness Machine”. Shirin David is in second place with the summer hit “Belly, Legs, Po”. The rapper Lacazette, named after the French soccer player, climbs from the four back to the three with “LID”.
The highest newcomers are Santos & Sido in fourth place with the song “Closed Eyes”. Fifth place goes to the song “Playboybunnies” by Jazeek, Macloud, Luciano and Miksu, which had climbed to third place the week before.
