Peter Fischer left the presidency of Eintracht Frankfurt and in his farewell speech he took the opportunity to give voice to one of his biggest battles: the fight against the growth of the extreme right in Germany.

“My greatest wish in life is not for Eintracht Frankfurt to win the Bundesliga again or for them to win the Champions League. My greatest wish in life is for all the Nazi shit to disappear. For it to explode in the air. For it to be thrown up in their faces. every day”, said Fischer in his speech, which was widely applauded.

“This club is colorful. We have 112 nationalities with us. There is no place for discrimination, racism or anti-Semitism in sport. Anyone who fails to comply with this will be fired from Eintracht”, he added.

The now former president of the German club, who has been in office since 2000, has always been involved in political issues. “I will be more evolved than before. Thousands of demonstrations are held in which millions of good citizens and democrats, intelligent people, speak in the streets,” he said, positioning himself vehemently against the growth of the right in Germany.
