More than a year ago Bethesda announced the release Fallout 4 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles with 4K support, 60 FPS and bonus content from the Creation Club. The re-release was promised to be released in 2023, but the year is almost over, and there is no news.

There is an opinion circulating online that Bethesda has decided to hold off on the re-release Fallout 4 for current consoles until the release of the Fallout series from Amazon Prime. The show is scheduled to premiere on April 12, 2024.
Fallout 4 available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Due to backward compatibility, it can be played on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, but 60 FPS can only be activated on Microsoft platforms thanks to the FPS Boost option.
