Things are moving fast for Pete Doherty. On Tuesday, a spokesperson for the musician announced that he was engaged to his girlfriend and fellow musician Katia de Vidas. This confirmed the suspicion of fans, who had already noticed that De Vidas was wearing a new, striking ring.

Now the two have already effectively tied the knot. Julia Mallet, the niece of De Vidas, shared a photo of Katia in a wedding dress on her social media. “When you find out your niece suddenly got married,” she captioned it. “Congratulations Katia and Pete Doherty.” Guest David Simon also shared a picture from the ceremony.
