/ world today news/ The head of the Delegation of the Bulgarian Socialists in the European Parliament, Petar Vitanov, together with Automotive Cluster Bulgaria, are organizing a Round Table “Transport of the future – clean energy at a fair price”.
The event will take place on April 12, 2022. /Tuesday/ from 10:00 a.m. in Sofia Hotel Balkan, Serdika hall. It will be attended by Vice President Iliyana Yotova, Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Environment and Water Borislav Sandov, ministers, MEPs, MPs and business representatives.
The purpose of the event is to provide an opportunity to stimulate dialogue between the executive, legislative and business authorities in relation to the need to undertake reforms and implement measures arising from the requirements for decarbonisation and achieving carbon neutrality of the EU by 2050.
The main highlights of the discussion will be the principles for the introduction of electric cars, the need to build charging panels along the national road network, the attraction of investors in the field of multimodal transport, as well as the implementation of various good business policies and practices / such as mergers, acquisitions, green and investment incentives/.
