Galina Ilcheva, who lost her son Todor Barakov (16) in a brutal accident a year ago near the Plovdiv village of Kadievo, demanded an effective sentence for Petar Marinashki, a reporter told Plovdiv24.bg. He is accused in the case of the deaths of Todor and Viktor Vassilev (17 years old), after he lost control of the BMW he was driving and the car crashed into a roadside tree.
In the tragic accident, Peter was driving after using marijuana and was driving at a very high speed – 98 km / h.
Todor Barakov’s mother was also today in the courtroom, where the next witnesses in the case were interrogated.
“There were a lot of children who spoke and were friends of our dead sons, but then it seemed as if they suddenly turned around and changed their testimony. Something quite different from what they had originally told the investigator during the pre-trial proceedings,” he told the camera. on Plovdiv24.bg Galina Ilcheva.
“I can only guess why there was this discrepancy in their testimony. One factor is that Marinashki was not detained, but released. He had access to these children and it is possible that their opinion was influenced, so he I say. But these are just guesses, “added the blackened woman.
“Admiration for other children, who remained completely friends, did not back down, stood proudly in court and told the truth and only the truth with a clear conscience. We want justice and we hope that this boy – Petar Marinashki – will serve an effective sentence. We already know that he has potentially been, and perhaps will be, socially dangerous by his behavior as a road driver, by the fact that he uses drugs and gets behind the wheel, and last but not least, let all children like him see that this will not happen. He went unpunished. He still took two lives, “said Todor Barakov’s mother.
