PETA believes that Britney Spears is not leading by example. The singer shared yesterday via Instagram that she bought another puppy and the animal organization is not happy about that.
“When influential people buy puppies, others start copying, which only exacerbates the crisis in animal shelters,” PETA tells entertainment site TMZ.
“With this one message, Britney Spears has sentenced countless animals in shelters to more days without love, a comfortable bed or a chance at a good life.”
Spears and ex-husband Sam Asghari had five dogs between them. After the divorce, he took the doberman Porsha with him.
