Donkey Lacking for five Years Discovered Residing With Wild Elk

A pet donkey that escaped his house owners 5 years in the past in California has been discovered “residing his finest life” with a herd of untamed elk.
Terrie and Dave Drewry, of Auburn, are satisfied the animal, filmed by a hiker earlier in June, is their pet “Diesel”.
The couple say they’re relieved the animal is secure – and have determined to let him wander free with a brand new household as a “wild burro”.
Diesel was spooked and took off throughout a mountaineering journey with Mr Drewry close to Clear Lake, California in 2019.
Weeks of volunteer searches proved fruitless, and a path digicam picture just a few months later was the final time he was seen.
