Pesawaran Health Office Records 20 Dengue Cases in Early 2023

Pesawaran (Lampost.co) — The Pesawaran District Health Office noted that in early 2023 there were 20 cases of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF).

Head of the Pesawaran Media Health Office Apriliana said the 20 cases were from January 1 to February 13, 2023.

“The existing cases are scattered in Gedongtataan District, Negeri Katon, Way Lima, Kedondong, to Marga Punduh. However, the most cases are in Way Lima District with a total of 5 cases,” he said, Tuesday, February 14, 2023.

He said, of the 20 existing dengue cases, all patients were declared cured. “Thank God, all of them were declared cured and none of the victims died,” he said.

According to him, in order to anticipate an increase in dengue cases in the community, his party continues to provide education and understanding about the importance of keeping the environment clean.

“We are still trying, one of which is through Pesawaran Health Office partners, namely the Puskesmas and other health cadres to provide education to the community,” he said.
