Yesterday, Konami invited the New Football Game to be testedwhich resulted in sharing on the web materials showing the gameplay of PES 2022. We have to wait until next month for the full presentation of the game, but the first movies that compare this year’s production of the Japanese with last year’s title are already appearing.
We still do not know how PES 2022 will ultimately look like, because yesterday’s message encouraging to check it was clearly emphasized that “The gameplay mechanics, balance, animations and graphics are under development and will be improved before the official launchą“. For years, the Pro Evolution Soccer series has used Fox Engine, which is Konami’s internal technology, while the version aimed at the market is to be “a kind of revolution”. Developers last year announced that they need more time to offer a truly next-gen game, so PES 2021 was only an update of an earlier part, and the studio also announced a change of engine. Currently, PES 2022 is already being developed on the Unreal Engine.
