Developer Konami has nominated five players from South America for the new Featured Players selection in eFootball PES 2021. The list is headed by Neymar, Alisson Becker and Luis Suarez, Bundesliga players did not make the leap.

Last Friday, Konami put out a new line-up with players who had previously attracted attention with goals, assists, outstanding tackle values or saves. This time, the numerous South Americans stand out, including Neymar again.
It wasn’t enough for the championship with Paris Saint-Germain at the weekend, but at least the Brazilian made it into the above-mentioned squad with the most formidable players before the end of the season. His overall rating increases from 92 to 95 points. The second strongest professional in the Japanese developer’s line-up is Luis Suarez. With his 21 goals, the Uruguayan played a major role in the highly acclaimed eleventh championship title of Atletico Madrid, which the Colchoneros won after the announcement of the latest Featured Players. The 34-year-old’s performance was rewarded with four additional points for 94 points. Alisson Becker recently had a lot of reason to celebrate, whose virtual rating jumps up two points to 92. A few days before the publication of the Featured Players, he drew attention to himself with his goal in stoppage time against West Bromwich Albion. His header to the 2-1 victory kept Liverpool FC in the race for the Champions League, for which the Reds ultimately qualified.
Special agents still available until May 27th
With Juan Cuadrado and Lucas Paqueta, there are two other South Americans in the Konami line-up. While the Colombian from Juventus Turin is happy about a remarkable increase from 83 to 89, the Brazilian from Olympique Lyon also improved brilliantly from 80 to 88.
Pizzi (91), Arkadiusz Milik (90), Henrikh Mkhitaryan (90), Nacho (87), Owen Wijndal (85) and Takefusa Kubo (85) also made it into the selection. If you want to sign one of the eleven players with a new rating, you have to spend 100 myClub-Coins for the respective agent. The improved editions can be purchased until May 27th.
