“CAF will allocate US$ 150,000.00 for the preparation of the terms of reference of the Management Plan, which will include a specialized study to diagnose the current tourist offer considering the different accesses to the Llaqta Inca of Machupicchu, such as rail access, pedestrian access o Inca Trail and Amazon access,” explained Minister Mathews.
In order to achieve the objectives, new technologies will be incorporated to manage the visit to the Llaqta de Machupicchu, accesses and internal routes will be improved, and a tourist dynamic will be managed that covers the city of Cusco and the future Chinchero airport. .
To prepare the Plan, he added, there will be the participation of the Regional Government of Cusco and local governments, in addition to various tour operators, sector unions, the Machupicchu Management Unit, Ministry of the Environment, Sernanp, the Ministry of Culture. , the Decentralized Directorate of Culture Cusco and other public and private entities.
