From October 21 to November 3, the first stage of the “Peruvian Film Festival in Japan 2023 (Vol. 2)” was held at the “K’s Cinema” in Shinjuku (Tokyo).
14 national films were screened: “The Revolution and the Earth”, “The Passion of Javier”, “The Journey of Javier Heraud”, “Vamos Ayacucho”, “Manco Cápac”, “Pakucha”, “Songs of Ayacucho/Mountains of Chichibu”, “Afro-Peruvian Beats”, “Drag Invasion”, “Samichay, in search of Happiness”, “La Foquita: el 10 de la calle”, “Retablo”, “Courage” and “Volver a ver”.
For the second consecutive year, the festival has had a great reception, this time receiving 1,197 attendees.
The second stage will be in Osaka, at the AEON Shinsaibashi movie theater, on November 17, 18 and 19, it will continue in Yokohama from November 25 to December 8 and will close the year in Kyoto, from December 8 to 21.
