Peru will host the U-17 Women’s Volleyball World Cup

The Peruvian Volleyball Federation (FPV) announced that our country will host the Women’s U-17 World Cup, which will take place from August 17 to 24 of this year.

“From August 17 to 24, Peru will showcase its new generation of players on the international volleyball stage. The nation will look for its young talents to emulate the success of their predecessors, the silver medalists at the Seoul 1988 Olympic Games, in the future,” the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) announced in a statement.

It is worth remembering that the national team had already qualified for the World Cup, by placing third in the 2023 South American Championship held in Callao.

Other teams such as Argentina, Brazil, Canada, China, China Taipei, Croatia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Thailand, Türkiye are also ranked.
