“No Peruvian deserves to be a victim of crime”Boluarte emphasized during the inauguration of the new 111 telephone exchange, installed by the National Police of Peru (PNP) so that citizens can report the growing cases of extortion.
“Today we reaffirm our commitment to confront crime with a strong hand”he remarked before pointing out that “in this war there is no time to lose, Peru needs us united to confront crime.”
Boluarte said that his country “is experiencing decisive moments that demand the unity of all Peruvians and the use of all the necessary tools to end crime.”

According to official information, the new PNP Central 111 will offer a free and confidential service to “immediately report any act of extortion and receive timely protection from police personnel.”
The service will be in charge of the Kidnapping and Extortion Division (Divise) of the PNP and interconnected with the 105 Emergency Center, so it will be able to receive images, audios and videos that citizens share so that they can be analyzed by the Operational Group of Immediate Response to Extortion (Gorex).
