Upon returning from the locker room, Miguel Borja equalized from the penalty spot (1-1, 53rd). But shortly after the hour mark, Yerry Mina scored against his camp and sealed the outcome of the meeting (2-1, 64th).

In the other match of the evening, Venezuela and Ecuador neutralized each other (2-2) in Rio de Janeiro. Twice, the Ecuadorians led in the score, thanks to Eduar Preciado (39th) and Gonzalo Plata (71st). But the Vinotinto reacted well, through Edson Castillo (51st) and Ronald Hernandez (90th +1). On Wednesday evening, Colombia will face Brazil and Peru will play Ecuador.
