Peru: Health Ministry sends over 676 tons of medical supplies to regions | Noticias

At the national level, Cenares has distributed 10,880,690 personal protective equipment (PPE) units, which included N95 type nasal respirators, disposable three-fold surgical masks, jackets, aprons, pants, overalls, boots, gloves, and disposable hats, as well as polycarbonate face shields and protective glasses.

Similarly, 32,800 serological tests, 1,390,313 medicines, and 48,000 diverse medical supplies were delivered nationwide, including retractable disposable lancets, disinfectants, detergents, paper towels, and antibacterial gel units.

It should be noted that 8,670,461 PPE units, 1,242,299 medicines, 30,800 serological tests, 16,860 antibacterial gel units, disinfectants, and paper towels were sent to the regions.

Meanwhile, the network of hospitals dependent on the Health Ministry in Lima Metropolitan Area and the Directorates of Integrated Health Networks (DIRIS Lima) received 2,210,229 PPE units, 148,014 medicines, 2,000 serological tests, 740 antibacterial gel units, disinfectants, and paper towels, as well as 2,000 retractable disposable lancets.

Cenares reported that the items are valued at S/43.78 million (about US$12.16 million).
