TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Pertamina Patra Niaga noted that electric car power consumption reached 45 thousand kilowatt hours (kWh) from five battery charging stations operated by the company from February to October 2021.
“From February to October, at least there were more than 1,500 charging electric cars with a total power of more than 45 thousand kWh,” Pertamina Patra Niaga President Director Alfian Nasution said in a statement quoted in Jakarta, Sunday, November 21, 2021.
Alfian said that the five battery charging stations operated by the company are located in gas station Pertamina.
The battery charging station is indeed part of an innovation for future energy needs that is integrated in a new concept of environmentally friendly gas stations, namely Green Energy Station (GES) which was inaugurated last August.

Pertamina Patra Niaga continues to monitor transactions and the amount of electric power used to charge electric car batteries at the battery charging station.
Currently, the majority of the use of battery charging stations at Pertamina’s GES gas stations is by public transportation and online taxis as company partners in developing the downstream ecosystem of electric vehicles.
