“Pertamina Implements Trial Purchase Arrangement for Pertalite Fuel in Several Regions Across Indonesia”

PT Pertamina (Persero) began implementing a trial arrangement for the purchase of Pertalite fuel. Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Irto Ginting said, this trial was carried out in several areas such as Bangka Belitung (Babel), Bengkulu, Aceh and Timika.

“There are in several areas such as in Babel, Bengkulu, Aceh, plus Timika,” he said when contacted detikcomWednesday (3/5/2023).

Irto explained, consumers will have to show the MyPertamina QR Code when buying Pertalite. The QR Code can be shown via cellphone, printed on paper, or using other media.

“But it doesn’t have to be printed on a card like that. It can be stored on a cellphone, printed on paper or other media,” he explained.

The Pertalite fuel purchase arrangement applies to four-wheeled vehicles. For those who don’t have a QR, Pertamina limits purchases to a maximum of 20 liters. Irto said that Pertamina continues to direct the public to immediately register at MyPertamina.

“Those who don’t have a QR Code, we direct them to register immediately, the process won’t take long. Those concerned can also still buy Pertalite subsidized fuel,” he explained.

Meanwhile, Pertamina is still waiting for the revision of Perpres No. 191 of 2014 regarding the distribution and retail selling price of subsidized fuel oil (BBM). According to him, arrangements are needed so that subsidized fuel is more targeted.

“In principle, we need to make arrangements so that subsidies can be right on target and not exceed the quota set by the Government. In parallel, we are also waiting for the Government’s directives for the revision of Presidential Regulation 191/2014,” he concluded.
