Pertamina Immediately Lower Pertalite Prices in Java Island, With Conditions

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – PT Pertamina (Persero) plans to expand the range of discounted purchases of fuel oil ( BBM) Pertalite type to the whole of Java Island.

This step is one of the company’s efforts in realizing the Lagit Biru program to encourage public interest in using more environmentally friendly fuel.

By giving this discount, Pertalite’s price will be IDR 6,450 per liter or equivalent to Premium.

Mas’ud added, after Java and Bali, Pertamina will target Sumatra Island to encourage transactions for the use of premium to more environmentally friendly fuel.

There are two main criteria in determining priority areas to be implemented by the Blue Sky Program. First, the area concerned must have people with high-quality fuel purchasing power.

“Second, Premium consumption in the city is still very high. This segment is what we are aiming for,” he continued.
