PT Pertamina (Persero) raised the price of fuel oil (BBM) type Pertamax Turbo, pertamina dex, and dexlite. The price increase varies from IDR 1,500 per liter for Pertamax Turbo to IDR 2,650 per liter for Dexlite.
Pertamax turbo (RON 98) was previously priced at IDR 12 thousand per liter, now it is IDR 13,500 per liter. Meanwhile, pertamina dex from Rp11,050 per liter to Rp13,200 per liter, and dexlite from Rp9,500 per liter to Rp12,150 per liter.
Acting Corporate Secretary of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Sub Holding Commercial & Trading Pertamina Irto Ginting explained that the company made price adjustments for three non-subsidized fuel products.
“The new prices for these three products, pertamax turbo, pertamina dex, and dexlite, are effective from Saturday (12/2), for the DKI Jakarta area or areas with a fuel tax (PBBKB) of 5 percent,” he said in an official statement received by CNNIndonesia. .com.
The price adjustment, continued Irto, was carried out following the latest developments in the oil and gas industry. “The ICP oil price per January 2022 was recorded at US$85 per barrel, an increase of about 17 percent from the ICP per December 2021,” he added.
Even though there are adjustments, Pertamina’s Pertamax Turbo and Dex Series prices are claimed to be the most competitive compared to equivalent quality products. This price adjustment is also in accordance with the regulation of Ministerial Decree 62/K/12/MEM/2020 concerning the formulation of prices for general fuel types.
“For other non-subsidized fuels, namely Pertamax and Pertalite, there is no price adjustment,” he explained.
