“This price adjustment follows global market prices and is in accordance with the provisions of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and prices will be reviewed regularly every two weeks,” he told MNC Portal Indonesia (MPI), Thursday (3/3/2022).

According to him, the three types of fuel are non-subsidized fuel for the rich and only make up 3% of the total national fuel consumption.
Previously, Pertamina had also raised the price of non-subsidized fuel on February 12. This is done for the same reason, namely following the development of world oil prices. “Although other operators have adjusted their prices first, Pertamina’s fuel prices are still more competitive,” he said.

Meanwhile, for Pertamina fuel types Pertalite and Pertamax, Irto ensured that the price remained the same or there was no price increase. “Prices for Pertamax and Pertalite have not changed,” he said.
For information, the increase in the price of the three fuels can be different in each region but still ranges from Rp. 500 to Rp. 1,100 per liter. For example, in the DKI Jakarta area, the price of Pertamax Turbo increased from Rp. 13,500 to Rp. 14,500 per liter.
Then for Dexlite, it rose from Rp. 12,150 to Rp. 12,950 per liter. Meanwhile, Pertamina Dex increased from Rp. 13,200 to Rp. 13,700 per liter.
